Wyeth's vision of leading the way to a healthier world means discovering, developing, manufacturing and marketing health care products that improve lives and deliver outstanding value to our customers and shareholders. It also means building charitable partnerships and using our resources to build a better, healthier way of life around the world. In this way, we work with others who are on the front lines of creating better communities.

Through financial contributions, product donations, patient assistance programs and community initiatives, Wyeth provided more than $163 million in 2007 to individuals and organizations in need. Among those helped were some 145,000 patients in the United States without health insurance, who received Wyeth medicines free of charge. For Wyeth, delivering quality health care to the most vulnerable defines the best of corporate citizenship.

The Company's largest gifts involve the donation of pharmaceutical products. Wyeth works with major international aid organizations that bring health care services and medicines to victims of poverty, war and natural disasters. In 2005, Wyeth not only provided millions of dollars in financial assistance and product donations to aid in the relief efforts following the Asian tsunami, Hurricane Katrina and the earthquake in Pakistan, but the generosity of our employees around the world proved to be a wonderful example of living the Wyeth values as well.

Our monetary contributions support a wide range of health care and social service programs in the communities where our employees work and live. Equally important, Wyeth employees donate their time volunteering for community projects around the world.
