Report Coverage
This section covers research and development, manufacturing, and distribution operations; administrative offices also are included in the safety data. When facilities are acquired, their environmental data are included for the first full calendar year after acquisition. Similarly, when facilities are closed or divested, the data for the last full calendar year are included.
Please note that we have revised some historical data for energy use, air emissions, SARA releases and transfers, wastes, and wastewater discharges. The changes are minor and do not affect the data trends.
