Business Areas—Global Operations

The mission of the Global Operations Department is to supply cost-effective quality products in a timely fashion. To achieve this goal, our group is fully integrated with all departments within the division, particularly Marketing and Sales. During the manufacturing and distribution process, we also work closely with our pharmaceutical counterpart, Wyeth Pharmaceuticals, to fulfill customer needs.

These cross-functional relationships provide our people with an invaluable introduction to the full range of company initiatives. At the same time, they offer our employees opportunities for advancement, either within Global Operations or as a stepping stone into other areas of the company.

We have a wide variety of functions and each plays a well-defined role in the overall execution of our mission:

• Graphics Development and Labeling Compliance
• Materials Management

Candidates' backgrounds that are appropriate for these areas are as varied as the functions themselves, ranging from very specific expertise—such as packaging engineers—to more general experience in manufacturing, logistics, or project management.

Due to the global scope of our department, we offer our people chances for international exposure as we support our affiliates worldwide. As a result of our close working relationships with Wyeth Pharmaceuticals, we offer opportunities in that area of the business as well.

Wyeth Consumer Healthcare Operations is committed to recruiting and developing the best talent. In addition to our ongoing recruitment of experienced operations professionals, we've established a College Co-op Program which allows students to work within Display Services for six months. This program has a dual benefit—offering valuable real-world experience to undergraduates interested in pursuing operations-related careers and identifying high-potential individuals for our company.
