The usual schedule is one dose every other day, as needed, but no more frequently than one dose in a 24-hour period.¹

RECOMMENDED DOSE¹

Patients whose weight falls outside of these ranges should be dosed at 0.15 mg/kg. The injection volume for these patients should be calculated using one of the following:

• Multiply the patient weight in pounds by 0.0034 and round up the volume to the nearest 0.1 mL
• Multiply the patient weight in kilograms by 0.0075 and round up the volume to the nearest 0.1 mL

• RELISTOR is available in single-use vials for subcutaneous injection¹
• No dose adjustment required in elderly patients¹
• No dose adjustment required in patients with mild or moderate renal or hepatic impairment¹
• Dose reduction by one half is recommended in patients with severe renal impairment (creatinine clearance less than 30 mL/min)¹
• The effect of severe hepatic impairment or end-stage renal impairment requiring dialysis on the pharmacokinetics of methylnaltrexone has not been studied¹
