GiardiaVax®
GiardiaVax is the first vaccine approved in the United States to help prevent canine disease caused by the waterborne protozoan parasite Giardia. Fort Dodge Animal Health added GiardiaVax to its vaccine line to help veterinarians prevent a disease that is difficult to diagnose but highly prevalent in the canine population. GiardiaVax has been proven to prevent clinical disease caused by G. lamblia infection in dogs and to significantly reduce the incidence, severity, and duration of cyst shedding.
